Good Vibes Pool Service LLC is not responsible for: maintaining water levels in pools & spas, taking off pool covers or damage to them if we do (we don’t remove manual pool covers), cleaning and/or removal of oil, scum, mineral deposits on tile or pool finish, modeling, discoloration or other effects to an old pool, new pool or re-plastered pool finish, rips, tears, or other effects to vinyl pools, lost animals, clean-up of excess debris due to nature or vandalism, removing pool toys and floating accessories from pool, solar leaks or damage to home from solar leaks.
Weather, Holidays, & Vacation: On raining days we will only do chemicals to sanitize the pool & empty skimmer baskets. We do not service on major holidays. Customer gets 48 services a year. Monthly service is based off 4 services. Months with a 5th service week are done for free and banked for vacation. We take 4 weeks vacation a year. When we take vacation, customers are responsible for adding chemicals to pool (if needed) and emptying baskets and pool cleaner. We will leave extra chemicals at the account and text or email instructions for the customer (if needed).
Gates & Dogs: Customer is responsible for keeping gates in working order & unlocked. We love friendly dogs but all aggressive dogs should be secured (if we can’t access your yard for any reason like a broken gate, locked gate, or aggressive dog, etc., we will skip your service that week with no refund or discounted rate). There could be an extra fee for swimming dogs. One dog is equal to 50 people swimming.
Annual Chemical Fee: There is an annual fee in January to cover the costs for the annual calcium and annual cyanuric acid treatments, plus other specialty chemicals used during the swim season like clarifier, shock packs, and tabs. Pricing: $125 for pools up to 20k gallons, $135 for pools 21k–30k gallons, $145 for pools 31k–40k gallons. NOTE: This fee is only for customers that were on service the previous year. New customers do not have to pay this fee.
Annual Pool RX Fee: There is a $99 Annual Pool RX Mineral Ball fee in May. We will install a Pool RX Mineral Ball in all our pools to prevent algae during the swim season. Pool RX Mineral Balls will prevent algae for up to six months. We will not service pools without PoolRX during the swim season (Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend). Pricing: $99 for pools up to 19k gallons, $119 for pools 20k+ gallons.
Extra Chems Requested by Customer: Bottles of chlorine left at customers’ location are $10 per 1-gallon bottle. Customers are responsible for returning the bottle ($2 charge if not returned). Shock Packs (16oz) left for customer are $10 each. Tabs (3 inch) left for customer are $5 each.
Chlorine Tab Floaters: If your pool doesn’t have a chlorine tab floater or an inline tab feeder, we will add a chlorine tab floater to your pool and invoice you the following month. We use tabs in all pools during the swim season, so every pool needs one.
Filters: $90 per cleaning or $15 per month for 2 filter cleanings a year. (If you have more than one filter housing, it will be more.)
Phosphate Treatments: We do phosphate treatments when the phosphate levels get to 125–150 ppb to prevent algae issues. The treatment is $25.
Vacuum: We vacuum upon request only and require a 24-hour notice before your regular service day. It’s $40 for up to 20 minutes of vacuuming. If the pool needs more than 20 minutes, the rate is $2 per minute. We don’t vacuum sand or rocks; we only vacuum light debris dime size or bigger.
Suction Vacuum: We charge $150 to suction vacuum fine debris like sand, dead algae, dirt, etc., out of pools. Pools bigger than 20k gallons will be more.
Salt Pools: We salt pools in the spring at a rate of $20 per bag brushed in. If the customer buys their own salt, we will brush it in at a rate of $5 per bag.
Solar: Open or Close Solar $60. We open and close solar upon request only and are not responsible for any solar leaks or damage to home from solar leaks.
Salt Cell Cleaning: We clean Salt Cells at a rate of $60 per cleaning or $10 per month for 2 salt cell cleanings a year.
Service Frequency: We do weekly services only for Chem Basket, Chem Basket Brush, and Full Service. CHEM ONLY service is weekly April to September. CHEM ONLY is bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) October to March.
Billing: All invoices will be sent via email from QuickBooks/Intuit. We invoice on the 5th of the service month and they are due by the 20th of the service month. $25 late fee. $25 returned check fee. Any account that is 2 months past due will be placed on hold until paid in full. All months are based off 4 services.
For billing questions, please contact us at [email protected].
Cancellations: We require a 2-week notice of cancellation of service.
Service agreements are contingent upon the customer keeping the pool support equipment in working condition, with no leaks and no black algae in the pool. All pools are required to have a Pool Sweep or Robot that efficiently cleans the bottom of the pool. Equipment repairs and programming systems are not a part of weekly services but can be done for an extra charge.
